Originally published in 1973 this book discusses whether managers can exploit the power of computers without being overwhelmed by them. As well as discussing the resources which computers provide, the pitfalls are also discussed: the danger of using computers as a scapegoat for human failure, or of sub-contracting managerial decisions them.
