dc.description.abstractAccording to several researchers, in the next few years e-commerce will still be the biggest contributor to the digital economy in Indonesia. The Indonesian government participated in signing the ASEAN Agreement on Electronic Commerce as an effort to support the advancement of the digital economy and this is seen as an opportunity to advance a digital-based economy in Indonesia in the future. So this study aims to determine the impact of the ASEAN Agreement on Electronic Commerce on Indonesia's digital economy by using the theory of regionalism and the ASEAN Digital Integration Index as a bridge in answering research questions. As well as to facilitate this research the authors use qualitative methods, with data collection techniques in the form of document-based research and internet-based research. The results of this study are that of the 6 pillars of ADII there are several sectors that have not yet had an impact on the digital economy in Indonesia, such as the development of digital trade and logistics, identity and infrastructure. But outside of these four sectors, the presence of the ASEAN Agreement on Electronic Commerce has had a positive impact on the development of the digital economy in Indonesia.en_US
