Galih Rijal Hakami. 106218096. Foreign Policy Analysis of Germany Military Aid towards Ukraine during Russia-Ukraine Conflict in 2022 At the early 2022, Russia and Ukraine has experienced another tension after Russia conducted military drills at the border of Russia and Ukraine. As an effort to reduce the tension between both countries, the western powers has worked together to give multiple aid to Ukraine ranging from finance, humanitarian, and military. However, Germany had prohibited military aid from their country fearing that military aid will only increase the tension between Russia and Ukraine. Even though the western world had pressured Germany to give their military aid to Ukraine, Germany sturdily defended their policy and continue to prohibit military aid. Four days after the special military operation between Russia and Ukraine, Germany finally allowed to give military aid from Germany to Ukraine. This study use qualitative approach and use input-output analysis as a research design to help the researcher analyze the sudden change of Germany’s foreign policy. The result of the research has concluded that the main reason of the foreign policy change is because the Russia-Ukraine conflict had made the German’s policy makers realize that a change of policy must be taken if Germany is to protect its interest.en_US
