| dc.description.abstract | China is a country with a good progressive economic rate in Asia. Back in the past, this country had a commerce road or everyone know as a Silk Road, which contribute in civilization until now. In Xi Jinping era, China is showing another interest in rebuilding the silk Road in order to strengthen the economic sector. To successfully execute this plan, Xi is influencing their interest in all over Asia, as well South East Asia. Indonesia, as one of the cooperating country, has accept their help in order to gaining support. One of the assistance that accepted is the construction of High Speed Railway Jakarta Bandung. This construction includes a bullet train program from Jakarta to Bandung. With this program, China is hoping to maintain its relation with Indonesia and looking for more political support that could make the BRI project successfully executed. For Indonesia, this program would maintain the developing of their domestic economy development. Despite of all the effect, this program had been proposed by the Japanese back in 2008. It’s all in a day’s work suddenly. China came and gaining all the works that Japan had done before. Thus, this became the writer main concern. It’s very aggressive move from China to acquire such program from their rival. This paper would be analyzed with geopolitics in foreign policy and rational choice theory to identify the main problem throughout the paper. The writer will conclude the paper with addition to the future of China on South East Asia development in infrastructure and China rivalries with Japan. | en_US |
