Guided bone regeneration is a surgical technique that uses a barrier membrane to promote the growth of new bone tissue in areas where bone has been damaged. One of the defects is in the periodontal bone. Periodontal disease is caused by poor oral hygiene and tobacco use. For treatment, it can use membranes produced by electrospinning process. The stages of making electrospun membranes include hydroxyapatite powder synthesis, polymer solution synthesis and electrospinning process to produce nanofiber. The sample variations in this study are PVA10%, PVA10%/Kitosan, PVA10%/Kitosan/HA0.1 to HA0.3. During the electrospinning process, there are several parameters that must be set, namely using a voltage of 15 kV and a needle-to detector distance of 15 cm. The results showed that the fiber size was 300 - 700 nm for fiber diameter and identified the distribution of hydroxyapatite powder in the fiber.en_US
