    Abstract
Indonesia has very abundant natural resources, and they are used as a source to meet the needs of the people in their own country. The production of natural resources in Indonesia has become a target in various corners of the world. One of the largest natural resources is Nickel, based on data obtained from the United States Geological Survey (USGS), it is stated that Indonesia is recorded as the country that owns the largest nickel in the world in 2022, reaching 21 million metric tons. This position is equivalent to Australia, and it can be said that Indonesia and Australia are the largest nickel contributing countries in the world with a value of 21% of the total global nickel reserves throughout the year. This primary data collection is used as an analytical calculation for drainage water pumps. This data is obtained from the Pump Calculation Sheet and Heat and Material Balance. And Collecting secondary data for the drainage water pump is based on the P&ID scheme provided and for the location of the drainage water contained in the Piping Plan, in order to be able to read the scheme you need to look at the data in the Piping and Instrumentation Diagram Legend & Symbols. This data is the steps for carrying out calculations on the pump. From the design data obtained on the pump calculation data sheet for Pump 1A and Pump 1B, the calculation process was carried out using Excel. Based on calculations, the drainage water pump's flow in the pipe will experience turbulence because the resulting Re value is greater than 4000 with a value of 290668.28. The BHP value is 0.30 kW and HHP is 0.18 kW, this shows that the power produced by the motor on the pump occurs at a low level in the flow in the pipe, this is caused by the influence of the head (pressure value) and the specific gravity value is also low. Meanwhile, the NPSHA value obtained is 10.47 ft, indicating that the suction power of the pump is high enough so that it can be said that the pump can work normally. NPSHA is influenced by fluid height, pressure, internal temperature and speed in the suction pipe with a value of 1.64 m/s. In water pump drainage, the flow in the pipe will experience turbulence because the Re value is 4000 with a value of 290668.28 at discharge. The BHP value is 0.30 kW and HHP is 0.18 kW, this shows that the power produced by the motor on the pump occurs at a low level in the flow in the pipe, this is caused by the influence of the head (pressure value) and the specific gravity value is also low. The NPSHA value obtained is 10.47 ft, indicating that the suction power of the pump is high enough so that it can be said that the pump can work normally. NPSHA is influenced by fluid height, pressure, internal temperature and velocity (Velocity) in the suction pipe with a value of 1.64 m/s.
