dc.description.abstract | In the era of Donald Trump, the United States was involved in a Trade War with China, implementing additional tariffs, renegotiating trade agreements, and relocating a significant portion of production domestically. The Trade War between China and the United States has been a primary focus in global dynamics, impacting the direction of the world economy. This research utilizes a qualitative research method employing a literature review approach to gather relevant secondary data on the research topic. Meanwhile, in the data analysis process, a descriptive analytical research method is applied with a constructivist theoretical framework. This approach allows researchers to deeply investigate the application of the Tianxia principles by China in its Trade War with the United States from 2018 to 2022. The collected data serves as the basis for a descriptive analytical analysis and interpretation. One of the strategies used by China in responding to the Trade War with the United States is trade diversification. China's trade diversification may reflect efforts to reduce tension with the United States while maintaining relationships with other countries, aligning with the Tianxia principle for peaceful coexistence. During the period of 2018-2022, the Tianxia principle emphasizing harmony was evident in China's efforts to diversify trade amidst tensions with the United States in the context of the Trade War. In response, China prioritized economic diplomacy through the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) to strengthen trade relations with other regions, reaffirming its commitment to international peace and cooperation.
