This research aims to analyze China's public diplomacy efforts carried out by implementing the COVID-19 vaccine program in Indonesia. China was the country that first experienced the COVID-19 outbreak, so China is trying to restore its image internationally. Public diplomacy is an important tool for China in forming a positive image and improving bilateral relations with other countries. This research focuses on understanding how China uses the COVID-19 vaccine as a medium in its public diplomacy towards Indonesia. This research will use a qualitative approach with secondary data search methods. The various data collected will be analyzed using three dimensions of public diplomacy, namely actors and decision making, the content of public diplomacy, and the instruments that will be used in public diplomacy. This research will identify various public diplomacy efforts used by China through the COVID-19 vaccine program in Indonesia. The basic assumption underlying the researchers in compiling this research is the role of the state in carrying out its diplomatic practices, then the focus of public diplomacy which leads to the economy, and its execution using the media and organizing large-scale events.en_US
