EVALUASI KETERLAMBATAN PENGIRIMAN PRODUK BAHAN BAKAR MINYAK KE SPBU MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN LEAN SIX SIGMA DENGAN METODE DMAIC (STUDI KASUS: FUEL TERMINAL BANDUNG GROUP - UJUNG BERUNG)
Abstract
This research aims to analyze and propose improvements for the delay in delivering fuel
product orders that occur at PT Pertamina Fuel Terminal Bandung Group - Ujung Berung.
The data used in this study includes the percentage of order delivery delays and delay data
per shift. Additionally, the research utilizes a problem interconnection diagram to
understand the relationships between issues related to order delivery delays.
The research methodology employed consists of data analysis and the use of tools such as
flowcharts, SIPOC diagrams, fishbone diagrams, control charts, and 5W+1H analysis using
the Lean Six Sigma approach. Flowcharts are used to illustrate the company's operational
flow, while SIPOC diagrams and fishbone diagrams are employed to analyze factors
contributing to order delivery delays. Control charts are used to monitor and control the
quality of the order delivery process, and the 5W+1H analysis is utilized to propose
recommended improvements.
The research findings reveal that Fuel Terminal Bandung Group – Ujung Berung has a very
high Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) value of 46,076.64 with a Six Sigma level
value of 3.229. This indicates that Fuel Terminal Bandung Group – Ujung Berung is still in
the average industry category in Indonesia and has a long way to go to achieve the 6 Sigma
level. Through analysis using a fishbone diagram, factors causing delivery delays were
identified, including delays in tanker crew, insufficient availability of tanker trucks, limited
fuel filling processes in the filling shed, assistance in transferring supply to other depots,
delays in tanker trucks returning to the depot, errors in the SIOD system, weather obstacles
such as floods, and congestion at various delivery route points.
