dc.description.abstract | ESWKA Waste Bank is an initiative by the non-governmental organization, ESWKA, based in
the city of Cilegon to address waste issues through waste collection and processing approaches.
In the context of the increasingly complex waste problem in Indonesia, waste banks play a
crucial role in implementing the concepts of reduce, reuse, and recycle. Currently, there are
twenty-five waste banks in the city of Cilegon. To support ESWKA’s program of establishing
100 Waste Banks in Cilegon by 2025, this research develops a web-based waste bank registra tion application using the waterfall method. From the process of eliciting requirements from
stakeholders to testing, this research produces a waste bank registration application with nine
Use Cases. Some features of the application include Waste Bank registration, Customer reg istration, Buyer partner registration, Charity partner registration, inspection of waste bank unit
locations, hierarchical approval from administrators, officials, to relevant government bodies
(Environmental Agency). With this application, it is hoped to facilitate the people of Cilegon
in establishing waste banks around them and, on the other hand, support ESWKA’s target to
establish 100 waste banks by 2025. | en_US |
