    Abstract
This research is about repairing expansive clay soil on Jalan Saketi and Malingping using High Alumina cement and Polyethylene terephthalate with the aim of determining the effect of Polyethylene terephthalate on compaction tests on expansive clay soil, the effect of High Alumina cement and Polyethylene terephthalate on CBR values and Mohr failure parameters. Coulomb in expansive clay soil. Mechanical and chemical tests were carried out at the Soil Mechanics Laboratory at Pertamina University including mixing soil with High Alumina cement and Polyethylene terephthalate, soil compaction tests to obtain optimum soil water content, shear strength tests to obtain Mohr Coulomb failure parameters and CBR tests to obtain CBR values. The results show that a mixture of High Alumina cement of 3%.5% and Polyethylene terephthalate of 5%.10% causes an increase in the soil shear strength value, cohesion value, shear angle value and depth value and CBR value of the soil without the mixture.
