This study aims to optimize the vessel turnaround time of PT TPPI Tuban Port by analyzing delays in the ship loading process which are influenced by three main factors: late arrival of ships (19%), late berthing, and port operational problems (37%). Although delays in ship arrivals are difficult to overcome because ship management is not carried out by the company itself, optimization of aspects of docking and port operations allows for increased efficiency. Simulations with ProModel software are used to evaluate various scenarios, considering the uncertainty of ship arrival time, waiting time before berthing, and loading duration. The simulation results show a decrease in vessel turnaround time from 26.4 hours to 21.81 hours (a decrease of 17.38%) in existing conditions. In the 25% and 50% acceleration scenarios, vessel turnaround time decreases to 23.79 hours and 23.13 hours, respectively. However, at 75% acceleration, vessel turnaround time increases slightly to 24.3 hours, indicating that the very large volume of ships reduces efficiency.en_US
