ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN DAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU BUAH SAWIT (BS) DENGAN METODE EOQ (STUDI KASUS : PT BAGAN CITRA LESTARI)

Abstract

PT. Bagan Citra Lestari is a company operating in the palm oil management industry which processes CPO (Crude Palm Oil), shells, fiber and palm kernel (kernel). The main raw material for the company's palm oil processing industry uses Palm Fruit (BS). In this study the author aims to determine the total cost of controlling raw material inventory using the EOQ method. Researchers collected data directly through interviews with employees on duty at the Production Department. In this research the author carried out an inventory control analysis using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The EOQ method is one of the methods used to determine the amount of raw material purchased in one order at a more efficient cost. In this research the author carried out an inventory control analysis of the main raw material for Palm Fruit. The data needed is data on raw material usage, storage costs and ordering costs, to be able to calculate the economical amount of costs in the company's inventory. From the results of calculations that have been carried out by comparing company policies with the EOQ method, it is concluded that using the EOQ method can provide efficient results for the company. By getting total inventory cost savings for Palm Fruit raw materials of IDR 762,159.
