Abstract

In the field of construction, a strong foundation is essential to ensure structural stability. One widely applied method in soft soil conditions is the use of pile foundations and pile caps. This report discusses the implementation procedures of the office and laboratory building project for PT Sucofindo Jambi Branch, which adopts this method as a solution to suboptimal soil conditions. Supervised by PT Bumi Delta Haten, the project also serves as a practical work opportunity for Civil Engineering students from Universitas Pertamina. Through direct field involvement, the author gained deeper insights into the construction process of pile foundations and pile caps and their application in real-world projects. This report is expected to serve as a preliminary reference for students and professionals seeking to understand this construction method further.
