PENGERJAAN TIMBUNAN SIRTU PADA PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN PENGAMAN PANTAI PAKET 4 TAHAP 2 DI JAKARTA OLEH PT.WASKITA KARYA (PERSERO)Tbk.
Abstract
North Jakarta’s coastal areas face significant flood risks caused by a combination of tidal surges, river overflows, high rainfall, and land subsidence. The impacts of flooding include tangible asset damage such as buildings and infrastructure, indirect losses such as traffic disruptions, and intangible losses such as fatalities, water-related illnesses, trauma, and health problems. To address these issues, the government initiated the National Capital Integrated Coastal Development (NCICD) project as a coastal protection program through the reinforcement and elevation of sea dikes, river mouth dikes, and coastal area management. One of the project’s implementations is the Phase 4 Package 2 Coastal Protection Development by PT Waskita Karya (Persero), which includes pile installation using the inner boring method, capping beam works, embankment works, and structural reinforcement using the Tie Back method. This study focuses on the embankment construction process as a case study, which is expected to serve as a learning reference for Civil Engineering students, particularly at Universitas Pertamina.
