Abstract
Urban spatial planning, as stipulated in the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 26 of 2007, represents the structure and spatial patterns that regulate the functions of areas based on geographical and socio-economic aspects. One example of the implementation of urban spatial planning in Indonesia is the management of the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) by PT Danayasa Arthatama. Established on April 1, 1987, PT Danayasa Arthatama serves as the developer and manager of an integrated business district strategically located in Jakarta’s Golden Triangle. Covering an area of approximately 50 hectares, SCBD has been developed through a master plan (1987–1992) and infrastructure construction since 1992 to the present. The district has evolved into a premium international-scale business center, comprising office buildings, exclusive residences, modern shopping centers, five-star hotels, and equipped with integrated facilities and infrastructure. The success of SCBD reflects the effective implementation of urban spatial planning in creating a world-class urban area.
