    Abstract
Dwi Wilujeng Ayuningtyas, 104219016. Analysis of Physical and Mental Workload of Container Loading and Unloading Workers Using the Cardiovascular Load (CVL) and Defence Research Agency Workload Scale (DRAWS) Method at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) This study examines the physical workload of stevedoring workers using the Cardiovascular Load (CVL) method and mental workload using the Defense Research Agency Workload (DRAWS) method. The objectives of this research were to analyze the physical workload of stevedoring workers with the CVL method, asses their mental workload with the DRAWS method, and propose improvements for both types of workloads. In the study, the CVL percentage for 13 stevedoring workers was classified as “light”. Indicating no physical burden, as it was below 30%. However, the DRAWS results revealed that 4 workers fell into the optimal load category, while 9 were categorized as being overload. The findings suggest the several factors influence the workload on workers, including overall workload, weather conditions, physical discomfort, equipment malfunctions, noise levels, lack of work support, and insufficient supervision. Based on these insights and following the Hierarchy of Control, recommendation include the installation of an Automatic Weather Station (AWS) to enhance weather monitoring, adding a backrest chair (Curble Chair) to alleviate physical discomfort experienced by stevedoring workers, and reassigning task to ensure balanced distribution of roles and responsibilities.
