Order picking activity is one of the activities in the warehouse that requires the highest cost compared to other activities, which is 55% of the total cost. Coupled with the trend of selling goods through e-commerce services, this will make order picking activities even busier, especially in e-commerce warehouses. On this basis, effective and efficient handling strategies are needed for order picking activities and are supported by a good layout. From these problems, Kiva Robot is used as a material handling tool because it can minimize human error and increase productivity. Also, this research applies the ABC inventory analysis strategy to optimize the placement of pods in the storage area and the use of the Breadth-First Search (BFS) algorithm as a strategy in path finding the Kiva Robot in carrying out it’s activities. From the implementation of this strategy, it was produced that the total time needed by Kiva Robot to fulfill orders was 57 minutes 42 seconds, with Kiva 1 and Kiva 2 respectively 29 minutes 48 seconds and 27 minutes 54 seconds. Besides, the division of tasks between Kiva 1 and Kiva 2 and picking station 1 and picking station 2 are also evenly distributed. With so ABC inventory analysis strategy and BFS algorithm are considered good to be applied in smart warehouses.en_US
