dc.description.abstract | Elevator energy efficiency and passenger satisfaction are related to one and another. Passenger satisfaction could be represented by the average waiting time of a passenger each time he/she makes an elevator call. It is important to understand the basic calculation method and the explanation of energy efficiency and passenger satisfaction in the beginning. Therefore, as the first step, we could start with a literature review in order to understand much deeper. Next, as our goal is to reach energy efficiency, there is no way we could understand what to do or what to improve without doing the simulation, meaning we could not reach efficiency without a simulator. That is why our second step is to know which simulator is the most appropriate and to know how to use it. | en_US |
