Abstract
Rail-based mass transportation is one of the favorite transportations in Indonesia, because it has a special road that is not used by other transportation. In addition, it has large carrying capacity, high level of safety, not stuck, energy efficient and environmentally friendly. This bullet train project with Jakarta - Bandung route only has a travel time approximately 36-44 minutes. The existence of KCJB bringing about the transfer of passengers from Argo Parahyangan train to Jakarta - Bandung Bullet Train. The purpose of this study is to know the current load factor of Argo Parahyangan train and the probability of passengers that would devolve to the Jakarta - Bandung bullet train. The variables used are cost different and time different. To achieve this goal, the research was conducted by disseminating online questionnaires with revealed preference techniques, then the resulting data was analyzed using binary difference logit method. This study shows that the load factor is currently 51.78% with good assessment standards according to the Covid-19 health protocol. The results showed a total of 97.67% and 97.97% of participants chose to immigrate from Argo Parahyangan Train to Bullet Train if the time difference was faster 150 and 165 minutes with a more expensive ticket price of around Rp 25,000. If the ticket was worth Rp 200,000, as many as 12.9% of participants chose to switch to the bullet train unless the travel time was outpaced 150 minutes.
