dc.description.abstractThe wind is one of the potentials that can be utilized for renewable energy, as we all know that wind can be converted into electricity through its turbine that rotates the motor to generate electricity. Nowadays Indonesia already has a wind power plant located in Sidrap, South Sulawesi which is based on land but it does not rule out the possibility to build an offshore wind farm or so-called offshore wind turbine (OWT) to utilize higher wind speed rather than on land to generate more energy. In its implementation OWT structure needs to analyze its structural strength so that on later days the structure does not collapse and cause a loss on economic or material, currently, there are many software that can analyze OWT structure such as SACS and SESAM but those software are not cheap and affordable for everyone so the author taking initiative to make simple software that can be used to analyze monopile structure that support OWT structure with Graphical User Interface (GUI) using python that can show structure internal forces and do design verification to check whether the structure safe or failure. The end result is the program made by the author able to show structural internal forces and initiate design verification to check structural safetyness.en_US
