Abstract
This study discusses the influence of Instagram social media exposure and website exposure as well
as online news exposure in choosing Universitas Pertamina. This study aims to determine the amount
of exposure of each of these media in sharing information about Universitas Pertamina so that
someone who is exposed to information from one of the three media has an interest in choosing
Universitas Pertamina. The method used is quantitative with the sampling method using
Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Questionnaires were distributed to students of class XI
and XII of SMA Negeri 6 Jakarta as many as 248 respondents. This study uses AIDDA Theory as a
basis for theorizing. The results of this study found that: 1) Instagram social media exposure had a
significant effect on interest in choosing Universitas Pertamina with a Sig value. 0.001; 2) Website
exposure has a significant effect on interest in choosing Universitas Pertamina with a Sig value.
0.000; 3) Exposure to online news has a significant effect on interest in choosing Universitas
Pertamina with a value of Sig. 0.000; 4) The exposure of Instagram, website, and online news
simultaneously have a significant influence in choosing Universitas Pertamina with a value of Sig.
