    Abstract
Planning in the need for fuel oil (BBM) is very necessary, especially for transportation. This also happens for trains at PT. Kereta Api (Persero) where calculations are carried out to prepare the fuel needed to deliver coal to domestic and export using locomotive type facilities. This shipment is adjusted to demand coal, with a ratio of 40% and 60^. Thus, fuel demand planning will be carried out according to the demand ratio in this study, using the LEAP software for 2021 to 2025 with two scenarios, namely the Business as Usual (BaU) scenario and the Alternative Fuel Replacement (AFR) scenario. Both scenarios are obtained for the percentage growth of coal shipments by a train of 6%. Thus, the results obtained from LEAP with the BaU scenario are 145,254 Liters for domestic shipments while for exports are 217,881 Liters. Meanwhile, the AFR scenario is used as a percentage of biodiesel growth as an alternative fuel with the results obtained with a LEAP of 141,642, 97 liters for a total need for 5 years for domestic shipments while exports amounted to 234,998.77 liters.
