The basic purpose of practical work activities is to improve the skills and knowledge of mechanical science students in the industrial field and application of science and can
compare knowledge in the field with knowledge that has been received in lectures. Understanding of processes and operations in industry is important to increase students' insight into the world of work. Cooperation between companies and higher education institutions needs to be improved so that the academic world can keep up with the developments of the growing industrial world. Therefore, students of UP Mechanical Engineering Study Program are obliged to improve their understanding in terms of science and basic skills. So that in the future graduates from the UP Mechanical Engineering study program can become qualified, professional, and have good analytical skills. Practical work activities are a form of activity so that students have views and descriptions of the needs of the world of work in the industry today
