dc.description.abstractThis development was carried out to create an application for practicing arithmetic problems. The results of a survey conducted by PISA show that Indonesia is still ranked 73rd in 2018. This is evidence that the level of mathematics mastery of students in Indonesia is still low. Therefore it is important to grow the level of knowledge of mathematics in children from a young age. The purpose of this development is to produce an android-based arithmetic practice application as an exercise tool for elementary school students. The method used in this development is the waterfall version of Ian Sommerville. The development stage begins with collecting data and requirements that must exist in the system, followed by system architecture design, then coded application programs, and ends with performing functional tests on the system. From the development carried out, an android-based arithmetic application was produced for elementary school students. It is hoped that this application can be developed even better for the next development so that it can be reached by elementary school students.en_US
