dc.description.abstract | Supercapacitors have a fairly low capacitance value when compared to batteries. In terms of
improving its performance, supercapacitor electrolytes can be developed by adding additives. P-
Phenylnediamine and Hydroquinone are additives that can improve the performance of
supercapacitors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of p-Phenylnediamine and
hydroquinone additives when added to potassium hydroxide electrolyte and determine the optimal
amount of p-Phenylnediamine and hydroquinone levels. The research method will be carried out
using the AutoLab potentiostat. The tests carried out are CV and EIS tests, based on these tests, the
electrochemical values can be calculated. Based on the results. Based on this research, adding p-
Phynelenediamine and hydroquinone additives has been shown to improve the performance of the
supercapacitor.
