Analisis Performa Bilah pada Airfoil Naca 2410 dengan software Q Blade
Abstract
Wind is an energy source that is abundantly available in nature and is a renewable energy that is environmentally friendly and has good work efficiency. Indonesia has a wind potential of 978 MW with wind speeds generally 6-8 m/s in onshore areas and above 8 m/s in offshore areas. Therefore, with abundant wind potential, we should be able to take advantage of this energy. This paper will analyze the performance of the NACA 2410 Taper type using the QBlade application. The research method used begins with a literature study to find natural parameters which will later be calculated with the help of excel in order to obtain the geometry parameters of the blade, then enter the data into the QBlade software by dividing the blade by 10 elements on the blade and optimizing the blade in the Qblade software. The experiment begins with an airfoil simulation to get the airfoil values and characteristics of the airfoil and then calculates the blade geometry design and optimization using the CL/CD – (Alpha) value by entering the Alpha angle in the optimization. The simulation of the blade modeling is carried out at TSR 7. The results of the simulation of the blade geometry are to obtain the values of rotational speed, torque, and thrust which can be processed into turbine power.
