dc.description.abstract | This study provides an analysis of the factors that drive Indonesia in the Trans ASEAN Gas-pipeline (TAGP) project as a natural gas producing country. The increase in energy use raises concerns about the impending energy crisis, it happend because the supply of fossil resources is running low. Therefore, world countries including countries in Southeast Asia are trying to find new energy resources, such as natural gas. As one of the countries that has these energy reserves, Indonesia is a country that takes part in the construction of the Trans-ASEAN Gas Pipeline project, which is one of the energy security projects formed by ASEAN and several other energy security projects. The author uses qualitative research methods and uses Foreign Policy theory which consists of two factors in it, namely internal factors in the form of Economic Development and Natural Resources, and external factors in the form of International Organizations, which the author associates with the concept of Trade Creation. These internal and external factors are a motivation for Indonesia to participate in the realization of the TAGP project. | en_US |
