dc.description.abstract | Migration significantly contributes to economic and social growth, both for the country of origin and destination as the demand for labor increases globally. In Southeast Asia, the number of women's migration continues to increase, but despite the massive economic and social contributions produced, migrant workers, especially female migrant workers, still face discriminatory treatment, violence, and various violations of their rights, both as migrant workers and as human beings. Therefore, in order to strive for the realization of safe and fair labor migration for women migrant workers in ASEAN, a Safe and Fair Programme was established. Using the Arild Underdal regime effectiveness theory, this study will evaluate the effectiveness of the Safe and Fair Programme as an international regime. Through this research it was found that the Safe and Fair Programme is an effective international regime. | en_US |
