Konstruksi Pemberitaan Media Pada Keberlanjutan Kasus Penembakan 6 Anggota FPI Oleh Anggota Kepolisian (Analisis Framing Pada Berita Harian Online Detik.com dan Republika.co.id Periode 4 April 2021 - 31 Maret 2022)

Abstract

This research is a study that discusses news construction. Where in the past year, there was an incident in which the police shot 6 members of the Front Pembela Islam (FPI). In this study, there are two major media that are the focus of researchers, namely Republika.co.id and Detik.com. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the purpose of using words and sentences in online media in the framing of an event. The purpose of this study is to understand the differences in news framing carried out by online news media, namely Republika.com and Detik.com in the ongoing case of the shooting of 6 FPI members. The type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive-qualitative nature using a constructivist paradigm and a framming approach. Data collection techniques using observation techniques and document collection. Framming analysis in this study uses the Robert N. Entman model. The conclusion of this study is the construction of media coverage on the continuation of the shooting of 6 FPI members by members of the police, in this case Republika.com and Detik.com, have contrasting perspectives in reporting on unlawful killings.
