    Abstract
    This research is an analysis about the influence of Indonesia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (IJEPA) towards the Indonesian international trade condition between 2015 until 2018. International trade is one of the most important aspect to elevate the political power and influence of a country. This research is based on the cooperation in the trade sector between Indonesia and Japan, and the impacts obtain by Indonesia through this cooperation. It can be said that Indonesia gets various impacts from this cooperation. This cooperation is also one of Indonesia’s tool to broaden or expand its political influence, which able to influence Indonesia’s interests in the international system. The methodology that will be used in this research is a case study-based methodology, namely IJEPA. This research will focus more on the use of Neo-liberalism theory, which focuses on the cooperation between actors in the trade aspect, namely global market. The use of this theory is based on the main discussion of the research, which discusses the implementation of IJEPA as one of the bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Japan. The next concept is the Comparative Advantage concept, where the strength of economy became one of the main key and opportunity to produce goods and services with lower cost than the actor’s partner. This concept is used to determine the influence of Indonesia towards Japan, and also Indonesia’s benefit on implementing IJEPA.
