T Pertamina EP is a company engaged in the exploration, exploitation and sale of oil and gas production. In activities in the upstream oil and gas industry, of course, material is needed to support drilling activities by going through the procurement stage. However, in the procurement process, it will be possible to experience various risks during procurement activities which will cause delays in drilling operational activities at PT Pertamina EP. The purpose of this research is to identify risks, carry out risk assessments and propose improvements to the drilling material procurement process at PT Pertamina EP using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. Based on the results of risk identification, it is known that there are 14 potential risks from 4 categories based on the fishbone diagram. From the results of the highest RPN - RSV matrix, 3 risks were obtained in the high-risk category, such as (A1) cancellation of the tender, (B1) failure of the tender process and (C1) delays in receiving materials. There are 7 proposed mitigation recommendations such as coordination with users, earlier planning, evaluating the performance of the parties, increasing the capabilities of the parties, optimal scheduling and monitoring.en_US
