    Abstract
Inventory control is a very complex problem. The problem faced by the company is the existence of excess inventory for each product stored. Therefore, it is necessary to design an appropriate inventory control system to minimize the total inventory cost. The design of an inventory control system for rice paper products uses the Discrete Event Simulation (DES) method with Anylogic software. There are 4 policies used in this study, namely policies t, q, t, S, s, q and s, S. The results of the right policy show that out of 6 products, 4 products use the s, S policy, and 2 products use the s, q policy. The total cost for all rice paper products in the proposed conditions results in a reduction of 64% from the current conditions.
