    Abstract
Rahmad Ilahi. 102219022. Analysis Performance Heat Transfer Of Heat Exchanger Shell And Tube On Plate Baffles Using Computational Fluid Dynamics. This research is about heat exchanger shell and tube with the purpose of knowing the heat transfer performance of experiments varying plate baffles, temperature inlet cold side shell and mass flow rate. So as to, know can or not be used in hydarulic system dan produce the lowest pressure drop. The method used is computational fluid dynamics with a compare theoretical result as a validation of the result. The result show, from the data of the hydraulic heat exhanger shell and tube system the maximum performance is single segmental baffles. The overall heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer rate is 53,42884 W/m2K and 1.115,051 W, and can be used in hydraulic system. Then, with varying types of plate baffles, temperature inlet cold side shell and mass flow rate with DOE modeling data the maximum heat transfer rate is 1.399,816 W, which is type double segmental baffles and can be used in hydraulic system. For the lowest pressure drop of 1,2155503 Pa, which is type double segmental baffles are used with maximum and minimum temperatur inlet cold side shell variations with minimum mass flow rate, then can be used in hydraulic system. Keywords : computational fluid dynamics, DOE, double segmental baffles, heat exchanger shell and tube, mass flow rate, overall heat transfer coefficient, plate baffles, pressure drop, single segmental baffles.
