dc.description.abstract | Lutfiah Nur Azizi. 102219013. Design and Operational Analysis of the 100 Watt Darrieus Wind Turbine in Sialanguan Village. This design is about the design and analysis of Darrieus vertical wind turbines. This design aims to determine the correct design for a Darriues type vertical wind turbine with a capacity of 100Watt. the effect of wind speed, minimum, average and maximum density, and the effect of minimum, average and maximum angle of attack on the turbine power produced. In this role, the method used is quantitative, the data is in the form of primary data. This design uses Microsoft Excel, Qblade and Rstudio software. 12 variations of variables are required for testing. The test results show that the maximum power generated at a speed of 8.68m/s, AoA 0 and a solidity of 0.2 is 21.72 and the smallest output is at a speed of 1.3m/s, AoA 6 and a solidity of 0.8 of 0.01. This design has a diameter and height of 4.2m and 1.77m with a number of 3 blades and the airfoil used is NACA 4412. The regression results in this design show that the effect of wind speed on turbine power is very significant. The greater the solidity value, the smaller the power produced. Angle of Attack has a slightly significant influence on the power produced.
