    Abstract
Final project research was carried out in the Balapulang area and its surroundings because this area has SW-NE oriented faults cut by NW-SE oriented folds. The aim of this research is to analyze geomorphology, sedimentology and stratigraphy, an also structural geology which will be synthesized into geological history modeling. The geomorphological unit in the research area divided into four units, include Syncline Hills, the Hogback Hills and the Denudational Plain. The rock units in the research area divided into four, include Sandstone-Shalestone, Interbedded Shaly-Sandstone, Sandstone Inserted Shalestone and Alluvial Plain. The geological structures in Balapulang include Dermasuci Left Slip Fault, Lebaksiu Lor Right Slip Fault, Kali Putih Normal Right Slip Fault, Kali Gung Normal Right Slip Fault, Kali Gung Anticline, Lebaksiu Lor Anticline, Kali Putih Anticline, Lebaksiu Lor Syncline, Kali Putih Syncline and Danareja Syncline. The geological his tory in Balapulang starts from Early Miocene until Holocene, beginning with the deposition process of Sandstone-Shalestone in Early Miocene, followed by Interbedded Shaly Sandstone in Middle Miocene and Sandstone Inserted Shalestone in Late Miocene-Late Pliocene. During Pleistocene, tectonic event occurred which caused formed geological structures included faults and foldings, and ended with deposition of Alluvial Plain in Holocene.
