    Abstract
Solar cells can be used in the application of Dye-Sensitizer Solar Cell (DSSC). DSSC requires dye as a coloring agent. Natural dyes contain phenols that function as dyes in plants. Temu mango (Curcuma mango) is one of the plants that contain phenol. NADES is one of the applications of “Green Chemistry” which is often used as a solvent. This research aims to extract temu mango (Curcuma mango) using NADES solvent as a dye sensitizer on DSSC. The characterization carried out in this study is physical and chemical characterization. From this study, the results of extracts from temu mango (Curcuma mango) with NADES solvent were the largest owned by extracts with NADES 3, physical characterization of NADES solvents obtained the largest density owned by NADES 1, the largest viscosity owned by NADES 3, and the pH of all NADES variants in the range of 6-7. Characterization of temu mango (Curcuma mangga val) extract obtained phenol and flavonoid compounds and obtained the highest TPC (Total Phenolic Content) and TFC (Total Flavonoid Content) values owned by extracts with NADES 1 variant time 16 hours, and obtained the results of the application of extracts as a dye on DSSC, namely a maximum voltage of 402 mV, a maximum current of 0.024 mA, and a maximum power of 9.648 mW.
