    Abstract
“RDN-1” Well is a development well located in Prabumenang Structure, Prabumulih Field, as the work area for PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan. “RDN-1” Well is a production well that will be adjusted to use monobore completion and slim-mer hole in order to get better efficiency in terms of cost from the casing design and drilling rig capacity. The approach that is used in this research is starting from interpreting the reference well information to be implemented for the RDN-1 well construction, then measure the differential pressure for pipe sticking prevention, kick tolerance for kick prevention, and loads as the part of casing de-sign analysis and drilling rig optimization analysis as another part of the whole analysis. Finally, the results found that casing design optimization can cut the cost up to 38.39% and the drilling rig optimization can cut the cost up to 35%.
