    Abstract
Temperature fluctuations that occur during the operational life of wells are highly likely, especially in geothermal wells characterized by high temperatures. These temperature fluctuations, particularly if significant, will impact casing durability. If not addressed seriously, this could lead to catastrophic casing failure. Therefore, in this geothermal well, an analysis of casing durability under thermal cycle effects will be conducted. The process sequence begins with the initial condition phase, which starts after the cementing process is completed, followed by initial production for 2 days, then production for 1 year, and finally, water injection. The analysis will determine whether there are changes in casing performance before and after applying these thermal effects. If changes occur, the analysis will assess whether the casing can still withstand the existing loads. Additionally, the analysis will examine whether performing each cycle process separately results in differences in casing performance and load. Moreover, the analysis will identify which parts of the casing are affected by these effects. Additionally, at high temperatures, the casing will experience deration effects. Therefore, an analysis will be conducted to assess the impact of these effects on casing performance. The analysis revealed that deration effects influence casing performance in specific sections, while thermal cycle effects do not affect casing performance but do impact casing load.
