    Abstract
Drilling operations in well RZ-017 was prepared to anticipate the uncertainty of pressure profile during drilling operations due to unvalidated data. Therefore, it is necessary to create scenarios to determine the appropriate mud weight, flow rate and back pressure when making connections or when the pump is turned off to maintain wellbore stability. This research applies the Managed Pressure Drilling with Constant Bottom Hole Pressure (CBHP) method to minimize the impact of uncertain data on the pressure profile. Drilling Hydraulic optimization using the Bit Hydraulic Horsepower (BHHP) method is also carried out to efficient drilling operations and maintain hole cleaning in drilling wells. The hydraulics optimization carried out including choosing optimum flowrate, nozzle size, and Total Flow Area (TFA). The hydraulic drilling simulation was carried out with Wellplan Halliburton Landmark Software, where the simulation was carried out on a hole section of 8.5”. A total of 9 MPD CBHP scenarios were obtained after optimization, where each scenario has different flowrate and ECD and ESD values depending on the needs during drilling operations. With this scenario, wellbore instability can be minimized, and drilling problems generated by uncertain data in drilling operations can be reduced.
