dc.description.abstract | This research is one of the methods for evaluating performance and optimizing production in the oil and gas sector. The Karawaci field is located onshore in Tangerang and has nine ESP wells installed. The purpose of this study is to evaluate well test and ESP pump data, as well as field production, by understanding the effects of back pressure, optimizing production by increasing ESP pump frequency to 60 Hz, and evaluating field production with a limited power supply of 300 HP. The research method involves creating a computer model using software from Integrated Petroleum Modelling (Prosper and GAP). The model will be validated based on production data obtained from well tests. Simulations will be run based on the existing model and following the scenarios created. The results of this study are a model of the Karawaci field that can represent the actual performance of the field by analyzing well test and ESP pump data with quicklook analysis to match the actual conditions. From the simulation results, it is known that the Karawaci field model can represent the actual field conditions with a production rate difference of less than 5%. The first production scenario is the effect of backpressure, which found that wells KWC-37 & 47 are the most affected by the increase in separator pressure. The second scenario is the optimization of ESP pump performance by increasing the frequency to 60 Hz, resulting in a total production increase of 708.9 STB/day. The third scenario is the limitation of the Karawaci field's power supply to 300 HP, resulting in a total production decrease of 3217.4 STB/day, with the most affected well being KWC-37, which experienced a production rate decrease of 1808.9 STB/day and downtrust on wells KWC-37, 77, & 78. | en_US |
