Abstract

This report presents the practical experiences and application of knowledge gained during Petroleum Engineering studies, particularly in well control technologies at PPSDM Migas Cepu. The focus of this internship involves analyzing kick control using well-killing methods and evaluating the implementation of the Wait and Weight Method. Additionally, a simulation of kick control using the Wait and Weight Method is conducted to reinforce theoretical understanding with practical application. This comprehensive analysis aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and field operations, providing insights into advanced well control techniques and their implementation in real-world scenarios.
