This study focuses on calculating the hoisting system requirements for Well UP-1 and comparing them with the available rig capacities. The analysis includes drillstring and casing weight calculations, hookload estimation, static and dy-namic derrick load, setback load, drilling line strength, and required drawwork power. The calculations show that the required drawwork power at a standard hoisting speed of 100 ft/min is 1,417 HP, which exceeds the maximum capacity of the available rigs. By reducing the hoisting speed to 68 ft/min, the required power decreases to 995.5 HP, allowing the operation to be performed safely using RIG ACS 26. The derrick structure is verified to support both static and dynamic loads, while the drilling line with design factor 3.4 meets the required design factor of 3. Based on the results of these calculations, RIG ACS 26 is determined to meet all hoisting system requirements for Well UP-1.en_US
