Abstract
This report presents the results of practical work carried out at the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal (DG Minerals and Coal) as part of the Pertamina University Management Study Program. This practical work aims to understand the work process at the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal, especially in the Planning and Reporting section, and to implement the knowledge gained during the lectures. In doing so, the author gained an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing the coal mining sector in Indonesia, including environmental, social, and operational risks. Through this experience, the author also developed hard and soft skills that are important for entering the workforce, such as problem solving, critical thinking, work ethics, and communication. In addition, this internship provided an opportunity to build good working relationships within DG Minerals and Coal. Thus, this report not only fulfills academic requirements, but also contributes to the development of human resource capacity in the energy and mineral resources sector in Indonesia.
