TINJAUAN QUALITY CONTROL BOX GIRDER PADA PROYEK JEMBATAN CISADANE PIK 2 EXTENSION
Abstract
The construction of prestressed bridges using the balance cantilever method offers an effective solution to meet the demand for safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation infrastructure. However, the success of this method largely depends on the strict implementation of quality control, particularly on box girder elements. This study aims to understand workplace standards and professionalism in the field while applying theoretical knowledge in practical settings. Specifically, the research focuses on examining the workflow and stages of box girder quality control in the Cisadane PIK 2 Extension Bridge project. The findings show that the quality control process in this project is carried out systematically through a series of stages, including inspections of the form traveller method, reinforcement checklist, tendon installation, casting, stressing, and grouting, as well as preparation and execution of form traveller launching. Each stage is accompanied by detailed inspection procedures to ensure dimensional accuracy, material quality, and compliance with applicable technical standards. The implementation of quality control in box girder production is conducted under strict supervision and with high precision in accordance with established quality standards, contributing significantly to the success of the Cisadane PIK 2 Extension Bridge project.
