    Abstract
Noise in seismic data can originate from various sources such as surface waves (ground roll), environmental disturbances (such as human activity and heavy equipment), and high-frequency interference caused by sensor characteristics or local geological conditions. If not properly handled, this noise can obscure actual seismic reflections, reduce the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), and hinder accurate geological interpretation. Therefore, noise attenuation is a crucial stage in seismic data processing to improve the quality of the final result. This study aims to analyze and apply various noise attenuation methods on 2D land seismic data along line “X” to enhance the quality of reflection signals. The methods used include High-Pass Filter, F-K Transform, Curvelet Transform, Non-Linear Noise Attenuation, Radon Transform, and Despiking, which aim to suppress noise disturbances without removing important information in the seismic data. This study is expected to contribute to the optimization of the seismic data processing workflow, thereby resulting in more reliable interpretation, especially in the oil and gas exploration industry.
