East Jakarta is an area with a large population and area, so groundwater will be a major daily need. This research evaluates groundwater potential in East Jakarta through pump tests using the CooperJacob method and analyzes its relationship with local geology. Pump tests and groundwater drilling were carried out at several observation points in the Jakarta area to measure hydraulic parameters, such as hydraulic conductivity (K), discharge and transmissivity (T). The data obtained were analyzed using the Cooper-Jacob method. The analysis results show that the groundwater potential in East Jakarta City reaches 530,396,000 m³/year. Rainfall conditions in November – February each year always have a high value, this shows that this month is included in the rainy season. This contributes to aquifer recharge and surface runoff. Meanwhile, most of the months from June to September each year have low values, this shows that these months are included in the dry season. The city of East Jakarta has a discharge value of 20 l/second, a transmissivity (T) value of 33,363 m²/day, and a hydraulic conductivity (K) value of 6.36×10−4 m/s. .The results show that the aquifer in Jakarta, which mostly consists of alluvial sediment, has varying groundwater potential, namely quite good-medium. This research provides insight into sustainable groundwater management, taking into account geological and hydrological aspects to overcome groundwater problems in the City of East Jakarta.en_US
