This study discusses about the application of WGM 2012 satellite gravity data in the Bintuni Basin Region. The purpose of this study is to obtain information on lateral and vertical distribution of the basin from gravity anomaly interpretation approach to the location of basement rocks, and validated it with relevant references from previous studies. Data processing was performed using the open source software Oasis Montaj Viewer and USGS GX version 64. The location of the discontinuity and depth of the basement was determined, so that the lateral distribution and the depth of sediment accumulation can be estimated. Estimates of the spatial extent of the Bintuni Basin are also based on an analysis of the geological information. The results obtained are the area of the basin that is trending northwest-southeast covering an area of 27241 sq km, and the depth of the shallow discontinuities depth range is around 2.72-5.75 km and the deep discontinuity limit is at 26,304 km.en_US
