dc.description.abstract | The gravity research has been carried out in the geothermal prospect area of the Kepahiang area, Bengkulu. The research was conducted from 16 October 2019 to 12 November 2019 with 222 gravity stations. The purpose of conducting gravity research is to detect fault zones / structures and geothermal systems. The pattern shape of the Complete Bouguer Anomaly in the Kepahiang area has a high value at the bottom which is indicated by the presence of fumaroles while the low anomaly is in the upper part of the Kepahiang area which is indicated by the presence of hot springs. Forward modeling uses Complete Bouguer Anomaly data with reference to geological data as well as FHD and SVD analysis. The modeling results show that there is geothermal potential in the area of Kepahiang, Bengkulu, where there are 8 layers that make up the study area consisting of Kabamuda2 lava (1.4 gr / cm3), Kabamuda1 lava (1.8 gr / cm3), Kabamuda pyroclastic flow (1.8 gr / cm3). , biring lava (1.9 gr / cm3), 1960 hill lava (2.1 gr / cm3), Kabatua lava (2.4 - 2.7 gr / cm3), Kabatua2 flow (2.7 gr / cm3), Kabatua2 lava (2.6 - 2.9 gr / cm3) . | en_US |
