dc.description.abstract | Food is the main basic need for humans that must be met at all times. Food security in
Indonesia is said to be successful if the need for food in all walks of life can be adequately
adequate and away from the threat of famine conditions with the consideration of the
importance of rice supplies for the sake of national food security, the government always
strives to maintain the availability of rice throughout the year, in order to achieve equal
distribution of rice evenly, stabilizing rice prices and working in improving its food
security with domestic food products (rice self-sufficiency). In this study aims to catalyze
rice supplies using economic order quantity (EOQ)" method of rice in Gudang Bulog Baru
Tempel Lemahbang 202 Blora. With some assumptions regarding the cost component, so
the calculation results prove that the implementation of the EOQ (Economic Order
Quantity) method resulted in a rice supply order policy of 15.319,4 tons in one order with
order frequency of 119 times a year with 280 business days. With the implementation of the
policy, Gudang Bulog Baru Tempel Lemahbang 202 Blora must spend Rp. 424,484,526 in
a year. From the recapituation of cost results and policies when implementing EOQ, the
company can minimize the cost in one procurement of rice orders. This is due to the high
frequency of bookings in a year, affecting the total cost. So this EOQ method can be
applied if it aims to minimize the total cost in one booking, but there are some things that
need to be retested with some other considerations if the EOQ method aims to minimize the
total cost that will be incurred in the long term and some considerations or policies of the
company if the EOQ method aims to minimize the total costs incurred by the company in a
year. | en_US |
